Foreign Minister Cavusoglu presents Turkiye's win-win policy towards Africa further during the 8th Dakar Forum, a prominent regional security summit held in the Senegalese capital. His three-nation Africa tour to Senegal, Ghana, and Benin studied the impact of Russia's attack on Ukraine concerning its global effect on food and energy prices. Türkiye is a strategic partner for the African Union, with a trade volume that has passed $34 and half billion dollars last year. During his visit to Ghana, Cavusoglu named the country an important partner for Türkiye in West Africa and praised its success in championing the role of Africa in the UN Security Council.
