PKK Agrees to Dissolve
10 MARCH 2025
After 46 years of a deadlock that claimed over 40,000 lives, the PKK terror group agreed to dissolve following the jailed ringleader Ocalan's disarmament call. Their so-called "leadership," based in its Iraqi stronghold of Qandil, has announced it will disarm and disband. While Iran and Germany have welcomed the move, the White House said dissolving the PKK could bring peace to a "troubled region."
