In a diplomatic show of force, President Erdoğan toured three Gulf capitals in three days and signed more than two dozen deals. The Gulf tour began in Kuwait, where maritime transport, energy, and investment pacts were inked. In Doha, the agenda shifted to defense-industry cooperation as Ankara deepened its strategic partnership with Qatar. And in Muscat, Türkiye signed wide-ranging deals on mining, defense, higher education, media, and visa liberalization with Oman.

Türkiye has joined the Three Seas Initiative (3SI), which connects the Baltic, Adriatic, and Black Seas through energy, digital, and transport corridors among Central and Eastern European countries. As the war in Ukraine continues and naval tensions increase, this north-south vision that circumvents Moscow is transforming the bloc into a geopolitical and maritime security group. Türkiye's strategic partnership adds NATO strength and provides crucial control over the waterways linking Europe to the Middle East and beyond.

Following two years of heavy bloodshed in the Middle East, Türkiye, the US, Egypt, and Qatar have been instrumental in securing a ceasefire in Gaza. World leaders convened at the Sharm el-Sheik Peace Summit in Egypt, where US President Donald Trump praised Ankara’s role in brokering the truce and complimented all parties for their contribution to peace in the Middle East. The first phase of the agreement includes Tel Aviv stopping its attacks and the exchange of captives and prisoners with Hamas.
