For the first time in six years, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with US President Donald Trump at the White House. Air Defense System

Türkiye has activated its indigenouse air defense system, the 'Steel Dome,' which is comprised of 47 air defense vehicles valued at $467 million. The historic air defense architecture design integrates protection against low, medium and high-altitude threats through land-based and sea-based air defense platforms and sensors. All components of the multilayered air defense were delivered to the military during a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
